Kitchen · Coín (Málaga), Spain
CC 008
This kitchen, open to the living room, is organised around a linear bridge-style run and a large central island, framed by generous glazing that connects inside with outside and draws in the natural light. The INKO furniture combines TIBET and BAIKAL fronts in an oak finish, bringing warmth and continuity to an open composition set perfectly within the home.
The main run brings together a generous pantry, a breakfast area with a wine cabinet, bottle storage, lower storage and open shelving with integrated lighting. Gola-rail opening is combined with bar handles on the tall units and a push system on the wall units. The separate Balay oven, microwave, fridge and freezer are built into the same volume, keeping the reading clean and orderly.
The island is developed on three levels and gathers much of what the project has to do. The Taj Mahal Almond worktop by Ascale wraps the main surface, housing the Brooklyn sink with Schock tapware, the Elica NikolaTesla Fit XL hob with extraction and the D’Aqua Black Flip socket. A raised bar and an attached table complete a space made for cooking, breakfasting and being together, with a direct connection to the outdoors.
