This COIN Cocinas project is arranged in an L around a large central island, which articulates the layout and gathers much of the activity. The tall run uses ESTELAR fronts in an oak finish with black bar handles, and houses the Bosch oven, microwave, fridge and freezer. Concealed within the same volume is the door to the utility room, preserving the visual continuity of the whole.
Beneath the window sits the sink area, linked to the tall run by decorative timber shelves that lighten the composition. The base units use DOLCE fronts in a crepe finish, combined with a pale porcelain worktop, a Reginox sink and Armando Vicario tapware. The backlit upper cabinets add depth and a warmer light to the room.
The island takes on the leading role thanks to its Alpi Verde cladding by Xtone, which wraps the volume in thick waterfall sides with a back panel in the same material. A shadow gap reinforces its geometry, while the BORA X Pure hob, the Bachmann Back Flip socket in black glass and the stool area complete a composition in which materiality, precision and function hold a very deliberate balance.
